  2. Author’s Purpose • The reason for writing it. Example: He wrote this to inform reader about what love and war does to you.

  3. Point of view • Vantage point that a writer tells a story. Example: I was minding my own business when Mom burst in. “What’s with you?” I grumbled.

  4. Tone • How the author feels • "Here's much to do with hate, but more with love,"

  5. Mood A state of mind or emotion Examples:"Life is full of misery, loneliness, and suffering--and it's all over much too soon."

  6. Atmosphere mood or feeling of a place • Example: Well there are many types of Atmosphere in literature, one of the most famous types is the ones that contains Crystal Liu.
