  3. Examples Alexa Chung: The Future Of Fashion (2015) “The Future of Fashion is a mission to uncover the depth of the industry and the huge variety of roles that go towards sending clothes down the catwalk season after season,” explains Vogue contributing editor Alexa Chung, who set out to investigate the truth about the fashion industry with her Vogue Video series by asking the questions everybody wants answers to. From finding out first-hand from Olivier Rousteing how he rose to the ranks of fashion royalty at Balmain, to exploring how to secure a job at Vogue, Alexa brings her signature charm and wit to give an insider view of the ins and outs of the fashion world.

  4. Phycology behind fashion What you wear affects you psychologically. It can change your mood. It also influences how others respond to you. And the visual illusion created by cut and fabric dramatically changes the appearance of your body. Your clothes can affect your job prospects, your love life and even your self-image. Facts about the way we dress: People who dress like the boss are more likely to be appointed and get promoted quicker. Men are more likely to approach a women for a date if she is wearing red. Women dress more provocatively when ovulating i.e. when at their most fertile. Nine out of ten women own at least one item of clothing they have never worn. Runners are more likely to greet other runners who are wearing similar kit. Wearing all one color blurs the dividing lines and make the body look slimmer. People stand further away from others who wear dated or unfashionable dress. Women are twice as likely to wear jeans when depressed than when happy. Provocatively dressed women are judged as being less competent than those who cover up.

  5. Phycology behind fashion But for the most, people remain conflicted between wanting to dress up and feeling guilty about taking the time to focus on clothes. Science says that the clothes we wear affect our behavior, attitudes, personality, mood, confidence, and even the way we interact with others. How many of us truly understand the psychology of how people in the street or office interpret our wardrobe choices, and how this impression might differ to the one that we believe we're conveying to them. Clothes have not always been as influential a 'tell' of our personalities as they are today. Only as a result of technical advancements over centuries have fashion choices become significant. In many societies, dress sense embodies personal wealth and taste. Roberts and his fellow researchers found that red clothes would tend to lead participants to rate subjects more favorably in terms of attractiveness compared to when they wore clothes of other colors.

  8. Interior Design Interior design is the process of shaping the experience of interior space, through the manipulation of spatial volume as well as surface treatment. Not to be confused with interior decoration, interior design draws on aspects of environmental psychology, architecture, and product design in addition to traditional decoration. An interior designer is a person who is considered a professional in the field of interior design or one who designs interiors as part of their job. Interior design is a creative practice that analyzes programmatic information, establishes a conceptual direction, refines the design direction, and produces graphic communication and construction documents. In some jurisdictions, interior designers must be licensed to practice. • Details- furniture, lights, plants and staircase • Rhythm- repeating lines, patterns and light • Unity – clean and clutter free and not having too much going on • Balance - even distribution of objects, colors, texture and space • Focal point – something that grab your attention instantly
