4. Ethiopia • Ethiopia is the oldest independent nation in all of Africa. Ethiopia is one of the poorest countries in the whole world because there is a lot of famine, plague, and war. In the 1970’s to 1980’s, the country was on the brink starvations and millions dyeing because of the drought, and various wars. • BACK

5. Quincy Jones • Quincy Jones was born March 14, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois and is still currently living. Quincy is known as a African-American musician, composer, arranger, producer, and a film and television executive. He has helped many stars in his career such as Oprah and Michael Jackson and many more. He is truly described as a icon. • BACK

6. Michael Omartian • Michael Omartian has helped produce over 350,000,000 albums and CD’s worldwide. He is known as a one of the greatest producer and arranger in the World. He has participated in the music industry for 38 years of his life and is still continuing to do so. • BACK

7. Michael Jackson • Michael Jackson was born August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. Michael began his musical career at the age of 5. He started off as the lead singer of the sensational boy-band “The Jackson 5”. He has numerous hits such as “Thriller”, “ Human Nature”, “ABC” with the Jackson 5, and many other hits throughout his life. He was a also know as “ The King of Pop”.
