Reception Training New Year State of Mind
Reception Vision • Our vision for Reception is for guest to feel like they are on the streets of New York. Guest will be entering from “off the metro” greeted by staff members welcoming them to the New Year’s Eve Party! Guest will have a chance to take in different New York sites, like a New York City Skyline, Tin Statue Man, and Statue of Liberty. To make reception sound like New York, sounds of busy streets and soft music will be played overhead. To incorporate New Year’s Eve aspect of the event, a resolution wall will be set up and a photo booth with New Year’s props.
Post-Reception Vision • Post-Reception will be a different feel from reception and dining. Reception was a New York street feel, Dining had a Time Square aspect, and Post-Reception is the “party” after the ball drop. Post-Reception will be focusing on the ambiance with lighting and décor. The ceiling will be filled with balloons to create a lower ceiling and the lights will reflect off the wall to create a subtle mood.
