Who Qualifies for SBIR ? • US Company for Profit • Small Business less than 500 people Additional Requirements: Work must be performed in the US Small Business does 2/3 of the work for Phase I Small Business does ½ of the work for Phase II Principal Investigator (PI) ½ of the time employed by the company

STTR THREE Phase Program with 5 STTR Federal Agencies Phase I Project Feasibility Up to $100,000 for one-year Phase II Project Development to Prototype Up to $750,000 for two years (04) Phase III Commercial Application Private Sector Market *** Offerors must be a small business who teams with a: University or College Federally-Funded R&D Center (FFRD) Non-profit Research Institution

Who Qualifies for STTR ? • US Company for Profit • Small Business less than 500 people Additional Requirements: ***Teaming with a Research Institution Work performed in the US Small Business does 40% of the work Research Institution does 30% of the work Small Business Controls the Funding Principal Investigator (PI) is employed at the Small Business or Research Inst.

  16. FAST TRACKSBIR/STTR Successfully Completed Phase I Submit a FAST TRACK Application Project is Evaluated for Phase II under an Expedited Process DOD Matching funds of $1-$4 for each $1 of Investor funds
