Knight ? • Knight-noun- A mounted soldier serving under a feudal superior in the Middle Ages. • The reason that the two words are the same because the Kn is silent so that is why I picked the words because it sounds just alike. • ARE • THEY • THE • SAME? • http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/knight
Night? • Night –noun- the period of darkness between sunset and sunrise. • See now night has some synonyms of it own which are after dark, after hours, bedtime, before dawn, black, blackness, dark, dark hours, darkness, dead of night, dim, dusk to dawn, duskiness, evening, eventide, gloom, midnight, nightfall, night tide, nighttime, obscurity, pitch dark, twilight, witching hour. • The word night only has one antonym (opposite) which is (day) • Now I know what you are thinking” these words do not sound the same, but these words are something similar to the word night • http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/night
What’s the Mnemonic? • As you can see that the two pictures are not the same, but do the two meanings mean the same thing? • The two words are both nouns but they are totally different.
