Crazy Chemical Wording!! Lead (II) Nitrate + Sodium Hydroxide. The Formula is: Pb(NO3)2 + NaOH The Balanced Equation is: 1 Pb(NO3)2 (aq)+ 2 NaOH(s) 2NaNO3 (aq) + 1 Pb(OH)2
Reactants and Products • COLOR: They are both white • STATE: Solid • OTHER CHARACTERISTICS: Lead Nitrate was crystally looking. Sodium Hydroxide is pebbly. When added together is creates a white precipitate. After the fact when we left it settle, some of the assortment was at the bottom and some of the decay was still floating. The solids went to the bottom and separated with the water.
