  2. “Sojourner” A Christian whose home is in heaven. One who lives as a stranger on earth.

  3. “12Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:12-13

  4. TRAINING IN GODLINESS Psalm 18:34 “He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.” Psalm 144:1 “Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle.”

  5. TRAINING IN GODLINESS Luke 6:40 “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.” 2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness”

  6. TRAINING IN GODLINESS Hebrews 5:14 “But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.”

  7. GOD SENDS US OUT WITH A PURPOSE.

Chosen by God the Father “3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will” EPHESIANS 1:3-5 (ESV)

Sanctified by The Holy Spirit “But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” TITUS 3:4-5 (ESV)

  10. Reconciled in Jesus Christ “…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved…everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” ROMANS 10:9 AND 13 (ESV)

  11. OUR LIFE AND REWARD ARE IN HEAVEN.
