What is Laser Cutting? • Laser cutting is usually the primary process before metal bending, rolling or metal fabrication of various forms such as stainless steel, mild steel and Aluminium. As such, our services are catered to various materials and sizes. • Laser cutting uses a resonator to create a beam of light • It then goes through a lens that focuses the laser beam through a diameter of roughly .015” • This is what is used to cut through the material of choice
Maximum Material Thickness For Laser Cutting • Mild Steel : 25mm thick • Stainless steel : 20mm thick • Aluminum : 12mm thick • Copper: 3mm thick • Brass: 3mm thick • Acrylic: 10mm thick • Wood: 30mm thick
Our Equipment The maximum material size we can cut is up to 3015mm by 1524mm. Any other length and width must be subjected to our fabrication services by joining them up together! We provided the following equipment for laser cutting. • Bystronic ByAutonom 3015 (4.4kw) • Bystronic BySpeed3015 (5.2kW) • Customized Fiber Laser Machine (3.3kW)

Benefits of laser cutting service Laser cutting has many benefits when it comes to production of parts and products. • Capable of cutting many materials and thicknesses • Cutting narrow kerf widths, which promotes efficient part nesting, yielding better sheet utilization and material savings • Fast • Easily and accurately repeatable • Reliable
Benefits of laser cutting service (Cont...) • Reduced time for set-up with the ability to react and adapt quickly to changing production needs that are market or quantity driven. • Efficient processing, as multiple jobs or parts can be nested and cut in a single program. • No secondary clean up process required for most materials, and is usually ready for immediate shipment.
Drawback of laser cutting service • High power consumption • Can be expensive vs. like processes (plasma or water-jet cutting) • Rate of production depends on the material • Poorly adjust lasers can cause burning • Difficulty cutting reflective metals (like copper, brass, and sometimes aluminum)
