  3. DID YOU KNOW???? A reaction can occur by the person touching the allergen Ingesting the allergen Inhaling the allergen Contacting the allergen by touch or contamination Teens are the highest risk group for a fatal food related incident A Life Threatening Reaction can occur in minutes…

How can you help to make WHRHS a Safe & Allergen Free School? • Take Food Allergies Seriously • Don’t share food with your friends • Practice hand washing after eating… Remember someone can have a reaction from the oils you leave behind on your hands • Ask your friends what their allergic to & help them avoid it at all times • Don’t pressure your friend to eat any foods • Know what to do if someone is having a reaction

  7. HIB Issues Reports state that 1 out of 4 students with Life Threatening Allergies have been Harassed, Bullied, or Intimidated in school or at a school activity! Never tease, joke or threaten a student with a Life Threatening allergy as it is a serious issue, can cause a potential life threatening reaction & you will be brought up on HIB Charges.
