  3. Problem The Problem with Tess is that she lives on a small island of the coast off of Maine and, goes to a little island school. After one year a family moves away then the state of Maine is about to close it. So they decide to adopt a child. Tess’ family is adopting a 13 year old boy named Aaron. But when he gets there he doesn’t like it there. He doesn’t like that a bully named Eben pushes him around and calls Aaron a orphan. He never plays with Libby when she asks if Aaron can play monallpoly with her. Do you think that Aaron can easily translate into a regular island boy or will something go wrong and Aaron will have to be adopted by another family and move on with his life. Read the book to learn more.

Character Traits • Tess has determination because she never gave up when she was trying to get Aaron’s mom to come see him at the talent show. • Tess always has a good attitude too because she tries to stay happy even if there are bad times in her household. • Tess is adventurous because she has a new friend, but her old friend didn't’ like her that much. • Tess is a person is happy no matter what she has to do

  6. Favorite part My favorite part was when Eben got punched in the face by Aaron, because I think that he deserved it. Aaron just punched him in the face then he just ran away like it was a hit n’ run. I know that punching is not right but I think that it was funny and that Eben deserved it.
