With an active SIM card in your alarm system, you can: - Call and/or text multiple numbers when an alarm is triggered. - Control your Total Security system via the free mobile app. - Call over the phone and control your system from anywhere. (Without an active SIM card, your system will still function as a local alarm.)

The service includes 200 minutes of talk and text (in any combination) for 90 days. Any minutes remaining at the end of 89 days will roll over into the next billing cycle, and minutes never expire! The service is designed so that customers with valid payment information on file will never run out of minutes. If the alarm is not actively using any calling or texting features, then no minutes are being used.

How much is the service? The charge for the service is $7.99 per month, billed in advance, in 3-month increments. There is also a one-time activation fee of $9.99. If the SIM card runs out of available minutes before the 90-day billing cycle is over, then the card will be automatically reloaded with another 200 minutes at that time, and the new 90-day billing cycle will begin on the date the card was reloaded.
