Lab Finding : The push and pull (Plate tectonics) of our earth causes cracks!

Key elements from Wind Erosion Reading: 2nd Finding: Boulder fields on Mars resemble deserts on earth because of wind erosion. 3rd Finding: Wind is a gas! Lab Finding : Wind is very powerful and can change the way our earth looks. The heaviest material takes longer to erode. The lightest materials erode quickly!

EX: Grand Canyon. 3rd Finding: Large boulders can be eroded with running water! Lab Finding : The water made a channel. Most of the erosion took place at the source of the river. The eroded material was transported to the river’s mouth.

Lab Finding : The erosion was greatest near the source. The sediment moved towards the mouth!
