Sensitivities to FRR Amount • Case A (baseline) – June 14 2004 event validation case • Case B – • current UFLS settings are maintained • base-loaded generating capacity is increased until frequency for 2 PV outage drops to 59.5 Hz • Case C – • current UFLS settings are maintained • base-loaded generating capacity is increased until frequency for 2 DCNG outage drops to 59.65 Hz • Comment: Diablo Canyon NG outage is the next worst G-2 after 2 PV • Case D – • UFLS is blocked • base-loaded generating capacity is increased until frequency for 2 PV outage drops to approximately 59.5 Hz
