  6. Wat doet het Zorgbedrijf Antwerpen • 15 000 klanten • of 1 op 9 senioren krijgt elke dag hulp van het Zorgbedrijf. • Ze doen dit met 4 000 medewerkers. • Ze zijn actief op 101 locaties. (RVT’s, Dienstencentra, thuiszorg, serviceflats, …) • En ze hebben een omzet van meer dan • 250 miljoen euro.

  11. Ouderen in Antwerpen vandaag • Het aantal 60 plussers is lichtjes aan het dalen • Het aantal 80 plussers stijgt daarentegen drastisch • 40% van alle 60 plussers is alleen, dit is 50% bij de 80 plussers

Trends op de vraagzijde • Ouderen wensen langer thuis te wonen (onafhankelijkheid - levenskwaliteit) • Veroudering : • 30% ouderen 75+ • 40% van de ouderen hebben psychogeriatrische problemen • 65+ in relatie tot 20-64 gaat van 22% tot 40% tegen 2040 • De vraag naar ‘zorg’ verandert : De klant weet wat hij wil en is mondiger

  13. Trends op de aanbodzijde • Er zijn onvoldoende intramurale plaatsen om te verblijven en deze beantwoorden niet zoals de thuisomgeving aan een hoge levens kwaliteit • Permanente druk om meer mensen te bedienen met minder zorgverleners vanwege het tekort eraan

Doelstellingen • Aan de hand van een pilootproject nagaan of thuistechnologie in staat is om : • Mensen langer thuis te laten wonen en dus een hogere levenskwaliteit te garanderen. • Mensen in staat te stellen om uit hun sociaal isolement te geraken door het aanbieden van communicatiemiddelen en opvolging en dit • Tussen de senioren onderling (community gevoel) • Tussen de senioren en hun vrienden, familie, … • Tussen de senioren en de zorgverstrekkers • het tekort aan handen in de zorg en de stijgende vraag ernaar te ondersteunen door het efficiënter laten inzetten van de zorg (lees : het vermijden van onnodige consultaties, betere voorbereiding, …)

  30. Navigation Service Within the navigation subsystem of the Home Sweet Home project, CATTID will design a Location Based Service specifically intended for elderly people. Objective Elderly people’s security, so that they can still find their way home also when they get lost. In case of emergency, the contact center can call the person and head him/her home.
