What did we want to do? • Real social integration • Between members and individuals or families in area • Between ACLC and the Payatas communities as a whole
How? • Closer relationships with the families in area • Tie-ups with groups and institutions already established in area • Lucas infirmary • Better understanding of the apostolate aspect
Strengths • Area skills training • We built new relationships (newbies) and deepened old ones (oldies) • Area Christmas Special • More interaction between ACLCers and the Payatas community • We did not just give them a party, we partied with them
Strengths • Basic Needs Sale • PDWTL • We were able to share our spirituality with a new group of young people • Medical Mission • We did a lot of consulting with the community in planning the event • We are further engaging the Cecilia Munoz Palma HS
Strengths • Processing • POFTP • We have started the practice of regularly discussing this
Weaknesses • Limited integration in area • Kanya-kanyang families • ACLC is not integrated as a whole • Minimal involvement with area institutions • We only talked to them but there is little collaboration • We are generally unaware of the issues in area • We are minimally involved/responsive to current social issues
Weaknesses • Hanggang experience langtayo; kulangsa social investigation; little attempt to better understand oppressive social situations • Consulting the areas when we plan activities is not the general practice, it is the exception • We only see APOSTOLATE = AREA • POFTP: we discussed but we have a difficult time practicing individually and as an org
Weaknesses Attendance
Attendance Situation Average overall attendance: Oldies: 49.23% Newbies: 33.64%
