The DateMeet Idea: • Do the work of gathering together information and planning it out for the customer • Use an algorithm to determine the best routes and alternate routes. • Make it dynamic and responsive to changes made by the user. • Visually appealing and easy to understand layout for the user. • Show the user exactly how much it’s going to cost.

DateMeet’s Needs • DateMeet is not a simple system, requiring the integration of many different databases into a single entity • Changes in a system can result in ripple effects. • Only feasible in short development time with scaled back features. • Rule of Thumb: Features first, prettiness second.

  11. 5 Key Points • DateMeet is for travelers, people who seek happiness away from home • DateMeet brings together information for a user, and assists in the user’s wish to travel. • DateMeet is built on systems that already exist. • DateMeet needs these systems, and they are also a major point of failure. • DateMeet is a large project that can only be developed with scaled back features.
