  1. Sketch Book Homework You will be graded on: Fulfilled all points of assignment 1-25 points Used entire page with Value (color optional)1-25 points Page is well designed/ interesting composition 1-25 points Time and effort (1 & 1/2 hours) is evident in craftsmanship and detail. 1-25 points

  2. Sketch 1: Pair of Shoes • Due Tuesday 18th of September. • Look at the differences in gender. • How are how their shoes are different? • Create a drawing using a man’s and a woman’s shoe. • Create an interesting design using repetition.

  3. Sketch 2: Daily Life • Due Tuesday 25th of September. • Breakfast. Still life of a breakfast setting. Ex: bowl, spoon, cereal, etc. • Work large, go off the page. Focus on Composition!

  4. Sketch 3: Animal House • Due Tuesday 2nd of October. • Artists have often explored the concept that animals or things look amusing performing actions restricted to human behavior. • Example: Dog reading the newspaper at the breakfast

  5. Free Draw Sketch 4 • Due October 16th after break. • You can draw whatever you like but must be school appropriate. • Used entire page with Value (color optional) • Page is well designed/ interesting composition • Time and effort (1 & 1/2 hours) is evident in craftsmanship and detail.

  6. Swashbucket Pirate Sketch 5 • Students must draw the buccaneer example drawing given to them, add their own sidekick, and add background. • Students will be graded on: • Background • Effort • Shading • Characters

  7. Two face Sketch Bell work 6 • Students must draw the Half face example given and then add their own half to the face. Due Nov. 6th 2012 Students will be graded on: • Effort • Shading • Matching original • Originality on opposite side
