  6. Clearing Codes • Disconnect negative battery cable • remove system fuse • turn ignition key off • Use scan tool or specialty tester

  7. Reprogramming Computers • Re-key radio settings • seat position • climate control • other equipment

  8. Test Drive • After Body Damage Repair • Once dash light goes out after repair • Test drive vehicle at slow and highway speeds, stop and go, accel and decel. • If no light, problem is repaired
