Penny A penny has a picture of Abraham Lincoln on the front. He was our 16th President. On the back most commonly is a picture of the Lincoln Memorial found in Washington DC. A penny is worth 1₵
Nickel A nickel has a picture of Thomas Jefferson on the front. He was our 4th President. On the back, most commonly, is a picture of the Monticello, the home of Jefferson in Virginia. A nickel is worth 5₵
Dime A dime has a picture of Franklin Roosevelt on the front. He was the only four term President of the United States. On the back most commonly is a picture of a torch with an olive branch to the left and an oak branch to the right. The back reads, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" (which means, "Out of many, one") A dime is worth 10₵
Quarter A quarter has a picture of George Washington on the front. He was our 1st President. On the back most commonly is a picture of the Presidential Coat of Arms. (an eagle with outstretched wings) A quarter is worth 25₵
