Who are the partners involved? • Hope Chapel - http://www.hopenc.org/ • A Christian church with 10+ years of community-centric outreach in and around the Apex, NC area • Southern Sand Volleyball – http://southernsandvolleyball.org • A newly formed non-profit volleyball organization with resources having 10+ years of experience in both running outdoor volleyball events and volleyball coaching/instruction in the Triangle area and around NC.

Sand Volleyball in North CarolinaHUGE Growth with Juniors • 2006 - vh1vball in Triangle starts a series of junior tournaments [Note: juniors branch of vh1vball is now Southern Sand Volleyball) • 2011 - Carolina Region/USA Volleyball’s Junior Beach Tour created • Statewide series of tournaments • 21 events in 2013. 1000+ teams.
