Research into Current Systems • IEB Software carried out research into current methods of storing asset information & maintenance schedules. • Most companies researched used one of the following techniques: • No current method • Whiteboard / Notice board • Microsoft Access / Excel • Paper based systems • Legacy IT Systems

Problems with Current Systems • Multiple document storage locations • Lack of tracking & historical data • Poor health & safety records • No accountability • No report creation • From our research, our clients noted the following issues: • Too much reliance on individuals • No or poor sharing of information • Multiple systems in use • Leading to: • Missed PM’s • Poor Reporting • Issues when staff leave / retire
