It is one of the most popular places in Himachal Pradesh that you will find on the tourist’s wish list. Have you been to Dharamshala before? If not, then don’t forget to carry out the Triund trip which will offer you the best experience. Triund is not only a popular trekking place but also the most scenic place in Himachal Pradesh.   3. Things you should know about Triund Trek: The total distance between the top of the Triund and Mcleodganj is approximately 9 km. It will take around four hours to reach the top spot. Hence if you wish you can even come back on the same day. However, some of the trekkers prefer to stay overnight under the starlit night sky. Due to this, you have to make sure that you choose the best Triund Trek package. You can choose different trekking packages based on your wish. If you are a beginner then you can also choose a guide to assist you during the trekking package. If you plan your Triund trip with the proper agency then you can also ensure to include the accommodation, meals, guide and many more.   4. If you don’t start the trekking from the Mcleodganj then you can take a taxi to either Gallu Devi Temple or Dharamkot. The distance to Triund from either of these places will only take about 6.5 km. The duration of the Triund trip is for one night and two days. This place is located around 2,850 m above sea level. As mentioned earlier, the trek will be of easy level. Hence, whether you are a beginner, moderate or experienced trekker, you can complete this trekking easily. Also, know that trekking will not exhaust you either. But know that this trekking requires a sturdy walk. This stretch is popularly known for its 22 curves because of the 22 sharp curves in the route.

  5. However, know that if you are trekking during the winter it might be slightly difficult due to the presence of the snow. Hence make sure that you choose the right season for your Triund Trek. You can take two days for the trekking so that you can enjoy the trip. This trekking is available throughout the year but monsoon is not the best choice for trekking since it will get slippery and dangerous.
