Demographics Our students are: • Place bound, transfer locally • High percentage of minority, first generation, low-income students • 9/12 institutions have majority part-time students, remaining 3 have residential campuses • 11/12 majority of students are female

SMHEC first steps • Establish criteria – narrow focus • Universities run report • Provide list of eligible students to university advisors • Advisors interview students to receive feedback • Creation of barrier analysis and decision tree • Evaluate feedback to determine next steps
