    6. Congratulations to the cheerleaders who are the 2012 Intermediate Varsity Live Pittsburgh Champions!

    7. Congratulations to the basketball team, they defeated Franklin on Saturday by a score of 55-42

    8. Tonight is Senior Recognition night for the Basketball team, the Step Team and the Cheerleaders. Come and see an exciting game as the basketball team plays Butler and watch the half time show of the Step Team! Come and congratulate our seniors!

    10. Liturgy Music Group will meet on Tuesday in the Lecture Hall. Join us if you like to sing or share your musical talent!

    11. There will be a mandatory Irish Dance Club Meeting Tuesday, February 7th, directly after school in the Aux Gym. The Meeting will last until 3:30.

    12. Club pictures will be taken Tuesday in the Donahue Pavilion starting at 8 am. Please refer to the schedules that will be in each classroom to know when to report to the gym. Please be on time for your picture and in proper uniform. See Ms. Decker if you have any questions.

    13. Seniors doing their Interdisciplinary Research Paper second semester are reminded that your first preliminary work turn in day is Tuesday February 7. Your ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY is due to your research coordinator.  The criteria for all aspects of your paper are available on the OC web site.  Click on RESEARCH GUIDELINES for everything that you need to know about requirements for this paper. If you don't know who your coordinator is, refer to the lists in room 207. Questions about the project should be directed to Mr. DeFilippo in room 207

    14. Freshman volleyball will start on Wednesday, February 8!

    15. Show your love this coming Sunday, February 12th at the Lovewalk for the Poor. Begins at 2:00 at Sacred Heart Church in Shadyside. See Ms. Farrell for details.

    16. Bring in your old hoodies and blankets, help support the homeless of Pittsburgh! Drop off your donation in the boxes by the bookstore. February 1st- 10th

    17. Attention seniors: This is your last chance to be included in the yearbook. If you do not have your picture taken at Hills studio by February 17th you will not be in the senior portrait section. Any questions see Ms. Decker

    18. PACCAO Catholic College Fair Meet with representatives of 35 Catholic Colleges and Universities for the Catholic College Fair Date: Tuesday, February 7, 2012 Time: 6:30-8:30 PM Location: Central Catholic High School

    19. The SPRING session for Driver’s Education will begin on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Classes are held for 10 consecutive Tuesdays from 2:35pm to 5:30pm in Room G06. We must have 25 or more students signed up for the course. Sign up in the main office. A flyer that includes information and the cost of the class can be obtained in the main office.

    20. SENIOR MID YEAR REPORTS Mid year report cards will be sent to colleges next week. For accurate reporting, please submit all college acceptance, waitlist, denial letters to the Guidance Office asap! Thank you.
