What We Did • Focus on ward based fundamental care • A cohort for practice change (at least 4 per ward) • Care of the patient with dementia • Flexible learning but structured programme • Full study leave but on site • Two cohorts – library based and IT skills • - reflective practice • Practice development team support • Ward sister as mentor
What Happened • Practice and patient care impact? • Recruitment effect • Individual benefit and growth • IT skills • OU 4th November 2013 celebration • 43 out of 49 completed
