De-stuffed Cat Yes my sewing skill is lower than level 0. • The de-stuffed cat is what you may consider the “board” for this game. The cat was cut with scissors through the center and then the stuffing was removed. I then sewed one piece of ribbon to each side of the cut to prevent the cat’s threads from fraying and eventually unraveling.
Cat Food Items • These were made by hot-gluing green ribbon to differentiate between the items. The white ribbon was hot-glued in order to write the item names and pounds. All CAT FOOD weighs 1 pound. There are a total of 20.
People Food Items • These were made by hot-gluing yellow ribbon to differentiate between the items. The white ribbon was hot-glued in order to write the item names and pounds. Each one of these items has a different weight. The lowest weighing item is the HABANERO(2 pounds) and the highest weighing item is the FRIED FISH(6 pounds). There are a few duplicate items as well. There are a total of 20.
Biohazard Items • These were made by hot-gluing red ribbon to differentiate between the items. The white ribbon was hot-glued in order to write the item names and pounds. Each one of these items has a different weight. One of the lowest weighing items are the BATTERIES(2 pounds) and the highest weighing item is the BRICK(15 pounds). There are a few duplicate items as well. There are a total of 20.
Cards • These are the cards used in each turn of the game. The different cards are as follows: • Skip(10) • Reverse(10) • Wild(5) • Shuffle(5) • Items(60)
Score and Die • This is the score sheet, pen, and die. The cat starts off at 15 pounds. The pen is used to keep track of the score. The die is used to determine the turn order and is also used if a shuffle card is drawn.
The Playing Field • The Playing Field includes the de-stuffed cat, paper, pen, “food” items, cards, and one die.
