Big question • My big question was, “would a plant that you water with water grow better than a plant that you water with strawberry soda.
Hypothesis • My hypothesis was that I think that the plant I water with water will grow larger than the plant watered with strawberry soda • I think this because if strawberry soda worked better, why have we been using water this whole time???
Interesting facts • Plants give us food • They make oxygen • They take in carbon dioxide • They are pretty • Some are not green
Experiment • A) Materials: B) Steps • Plant A step 1. you plant the seed in the soil • Plant B just as far as the instructions • Water say. Remember to loosen the soil every • Strawberry Soda once in a while. • Notebook/Recording Step 2. depending on how you want to Materials water it, water it every 1-2 days. Pen/Pencil Step 3. record data every 2-4 days.
Observations From Experiment • 1. 1-2 days had passed…nothing • 2-4 days had passed…nothing • 3-5 days had passed...my strawberry plant has started to grow a cottony like substance on the surface. • 6-9 days had passed…still not seeing any improvement in the water plants. • 11-13 days had passed... Now all 3 strawberry plants had grown this cottony like substance while the watery plants still lack to show results. • 14-15 days had passed… I decided to give up on the watery plant.
Data • The plant that I watered with water did not grow, neither did the one I watered with strawberry soda. • but, the plant I watered with soda grew a cottony like substance. That some people tell me is mold.
Analysis of Data • Neither of my plants grew • My strawberry plant grew cottony like substance.
Conclusion • My hypothesis did not right. • My plants did not grow. • One grew mold •
