  2. Defining Dual Credits Students participate in apprenticeship training and postsecondary courses earning credits that count towards both their high school diploma and their postsecondary diploma, degree or apprenticeship certification.

  4. Dual Credits: Who are they for? The Primary Focus is on: • Students who might be at risk of not graduating but have the potential to succeed • Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) students • Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) students Dual Credit Policy Document 2013
