Characteristics of Anorexia • 15% below weight • Fear of being fat • Irregular heartbeat • Dizzy • Trouble Concentrating • Brittle bones • Breaks easily
Characteristics of Bulimia: • Binge eating • Feeling out of control • Purges food • Hides binges • Eats 5,000-7,000 calories at a time • Low potassium in blood • Calloused skin on fingers • Teeth (cavities) and mouth (sore throat)
