  7. Urea applied to all treatments @ 100kg/ha 23rd July Z 22 treatments appearing N deficient UTC yielded higher than expected due to fewer tillers & dry season finish. Tillers numbers mirrored plant germination. 40kg/ha + Basis performed better than expected more work required on rate response. Conclusions
