Noah’s Ark Purposes & Update Noah’s Ark 5 purposes: • Fellowship • Caring • Spiritual growth • Evangelism • Serving Noah’s Ark Update: • David/Hung’s group will birth next Feb with Alex/Bonnie as the new group’s leaders • No more Baby group concept, Michael/Dely’s group will have couples without kids
Review of 2010 Program: • Meet once per month at Fellowship hall on the last Sat of the month • We order dinner and eat at the church • 4 bible studies & 1 Q&A with Pastor Shiu • 4 merged group meetings - 2 parenting sharing with AdaMak, 1 marriage sharing with Pastor Ho, 1 cooking class with Rebecca Wu • 1st BFG Retreat • 1 sharing night leaded by Winston and Candy • Coming up: Christmas party (12/18)
Review of 2010 Serving we did: • Work Day: Winston(NA coordinator), Candy, Kelvin, Fiona, Johnson, Simon, Anthony, Jim • Traffic Monitor: Johnson(NA coordinator), Winston, Louis, Jim • Lunch helper: Virginia, Carmen, Jim, Winston, Candy, Johnson • Summer Choir: Winston, Candy, Simon Thank you for your heart to serve!
Review of 2010 Areas we need to work on: • Commit to attend the meetings • Try to be on time • Not distracted by kids • More sharing & praying time
2011 Program 1. Meet twice a month: One meeting for Bible Study: • meet last Sat of each month at SCAC with dinner • follow the Noah’s Ark’s materials and Winston/Candy and Johnson/Maggie will take turn to lead • take turn to be children program teachers (if you are not teachers, please try to stay in the meeting) One for Sharing + Praying: • meet 2nd Sat of each month • separate into 2 groups ; try out different combinations such as dads and moms OR two smaller groups • take turn to host it at home • take turn to watch the kids 2.
