Green Power was founded by a group of devotees to the environment in 1988 and is one of the major green groups in Hong Kong. We are dedicated to promoting the conservation movement and a green lifestyle, as well as to advocating better public policies for the environment

Clean Up the World is an international cleaning project supported by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)
Green Power Hike • In the past 10 years,Green Power Hike has attracted 15,500 participants to walk on a cumulative journey of 7,750,000km.The Hikers raised a total of HK$13,000,000.
The 10th Green Power Hike was a great success. More than 3,000 hikers joined the green walkathon along the 50km Hong Kong Trail.

CONSERVATION • Our conservation objectives are to conserve Hong Kong and China's biodiversity, improve the quality of our environment while motivating people to act to conserve our natural environment.Our conservation proiorities include: • promoting the conservation of nature and natural resources • lobbying the SAR Government for the development and implementation of conservation policies • providing support to the monitoring of both the legal and illegal trade in threatened plant and animal species and their by-products • managing the internationally recognized Mai Po Marshes Wildlife Education Centre and Nature Reserve.
