Endangered Species Act of 1973 • Agencies responsible for Regulation and Enforcement: -National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) -United States Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS). • Environmental Issues affected: • - The destruction of any species’ habitat • - Overutilization of species for any commercial, scientific, recreational or educational purposes • - Inadequacy of existing protection • - Natural or manmade factors that affect the continued existence of the species
