AppArmor is an application profiling tool that enables you to monitor applications for non-characteristic behavior. We’re now in the process of getting SLES 10 EAL 4+ certified. We’ve included a variety of network detection and monitoring tools, including the Open Source SNORT technology. XEN virtualization keeps viruses from spreading to other power virtualized operating systems. The major technical advancements in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 have finally provided a way to transition smoothly from UNIX. With the ability to scale up to 1024 CPUs and more than 10 terabytes of physical memory, you’ll retain all of the performance, scalability and reliability that you enjoyed with UNIX. We’ve also been busy working on our new hardware and update drivers. SLES 10 lets you go out to a hardware vendor site, download the new device drivers, and update them into the operating system without waiting for Novell to issue a new release of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. The last area of investment focus that I want to talk about today is Storage Foundation. SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 includes the Oracle Cluster File System 2, the Enterprise Volume Manager Server, and the Heartbeat 2 High-Availability Code, which scales all the way up to 16 modes. These three components comprise the only complete, out-of-the-box clustered failover solution available.
