Travellers leaving Trafford Park by car & bus were asked about their journeys as they crossed a cordon around the centre This presentation gives an overview of the findings from those surveys It considers first people who had visited Trafford Park, then those travelling through GMATS Surveys 2002 Trafford Park Centre
The survey points used to create a cordon around Trafford Park are a mixture of GMATS sites and M60 sites The GMATS sites lie along the southern boundary and to the east of Trafford Park, and the M60 sites to the north The boundary defined to represent Trafford Park together with the sites used are shown in the following slide Trafford Park Definition
Over 52,000 were in Trafford Park between 07:00 & 19:00 96% used car Only 4% used bus Visitors to Trafford Park How many visited Trafford Park and how did they travel?
