Re-use SPES PKI Tools: Advantages Re-use of SPES PKI Technologies has allowed: • Increase Use of IT technologies among professionals and sanitary that interacting with public health local authority • Increase level of automation in the Health Public Utility back offices • Obtain legal validity of sanitary data using PKI technology inside Health Software Applications • Enforce Use of the Standard Technologies for the Electronic Patient Record (EPR ) management • Increase level of automation among Health Public Utility and Family Physicians

Major Criticisms • Special requirements in the national law for legal validity of electronic signatures • Interoperability problems • Short Attitude of Citizen and Family Phisicians to access to the new methods of service delivery • Special requirements in order to safeguard citizen privacy in the treatment of sanitary data

Customisation of Web Portal for FamilyPhysicians • Installation of the HW and OS in order to set up a platform for the testing of the software selected. • Implementation of the designed software modules and integration with Hospital Information System application with reduced digital signature support • Testing of the core system and identification of the activities necessary to integrate the provided SW system with the existing information system and with PKI infrastructure • Integration of the implemented software modules with the spes PKI tools • Test of the single functionality of the integrated application • Test of the application components in a real situation
