Concept Overview: Happiness is getting harder to come by these days. Our faiths for humanity and sense of responsibilities are constantly deterred by gloomy economy outlook and societal inequality development around the world. To find a quick solution, we resort our source of happiness to short-term materialistic possessions and forget what is the most powerful energy still living among us – creativity. While the society getting richer in wealth, the societal gap between the material-comfort people and the under-privileged also becomes wider. According to a recent survey conducted by creditable body (http://www.happyplanetindex.org/data/) people live in some of the most established countries in the world are among the unhappiest. Why? Because in developed country the idea of growth and its societal development mechanics allow us to take more than enough for ourselves but hardly remind us to connect to the needy and give them back. True happiness comes from the act of giving, and giving to the right people will heal your soul and make us a better and happier person. Happy Creator is a Non-profit-organization aim to reduce the ambiguous identity between the material-comfort yet unhappy people and the one who needs their aid in life. Who is the receiver: • People who lives in under-privileged condition needs social aid • Victims of natural disaster or territorial conflict needs funding for necessities • Children with long-term disadvantage health conditions needs supports • Endangered Ethic group and vanishing culture needs attention • And more… Musician Banker Who is the creator/giver: Everyone with a creative will and a heart to give is a right candidate. We believe everyone has a unique way to inspire other in life. An Example Project based on on-going event: A group of flood victims lost their home in Philippines. They are hoping to receive funds for home repairs or a temporary shelter. Based on this event we will set up a HAPPY CREATOR project to assist in Flood Recovery Fund. Breakdown of the project creative process: We use HOME as the subject for inspiration and call for entries through online and print media. An assigned team leader will select and assemble a team through submissions. The team leader will create a brief and project outline for all creators in the project and oversee the entire creative process proceed within the guiding principles and rules of Happy Creator. The entire creative process will be documented and shred via social media website to gain publicity. And each creator will be given access to the website to exchange dialogue with the online community and share their thoughts and the craft. After the work is complete. It will be displayed in local library, council, gallery, schools, and online before it goes up for auction at Happy Creator website. Poster Educational Interactive Game on mobile and tablet device Education Video Channel Free classes held at schools Advertising and Media Publicity Happy Creator markets itself as an NGO and want to use space wisely and effectively to attract common people with different sense of responsibilities and at the same time give our creator credibility through different channel of publicity. We employ a few advertising strategies as described below: In Advertising we will setup: Workshop in local library, school and council hall to introduce Happy Creator to the public and organize creator tutorial class to help ordinary people to discover their inner creative talent through classes. Open Road Show to exhibit our creator-in-action and display of creative work to inspire more visitors to participate. Online educational video channel to raise awareness of Happy Creator to the Generation Z and the online community through viral advertisement. We use Interactive mini-game in mobile device build with different creative projects to create engagement and introduce the concept of Happy Creator through game-play. In Publicity we will publish and distribute: Bi-monthly newsletter in schools, library and local council. Article based on the story of the aid receiver in major local newspaper and college magazine. Media and Auction Website: As a NGO, Happy Creator will use print media, online media to generate awareness about the organization and gain media presence. The print media contains information about Happy Creator upcoming exhibition and teaching classes. And they are distributed in schools, hospital, library, local community centre and council. In online media, we will launch: (1)Happy Creator Main Auction Website and (2)Social Media Site When visitors arrive at the Happy Creator website. They can see all the projects and the information covers the background of each project including Real story and voice from the aid receiver The aid receiver’s thoughts/wish post-disaster Creators presentation, Creative work development updates and more. The Objectives: • To raise awareness about the others whom we can help • To make ordinary people realize their creative potential and make use of it • To educate the public about the short-coming events and their stories • To develop this idea to a wider audience group • To make a better society • To bring the society together through creative means The Ultimate Goal: We want our creators to discover the creative side of themselves and use them with a meaningful and noble purpose. We want people to believe the power of creativity. And the best way to measure such power is by start giving. The ideal outcome is a better society with stronger human bonding and sense of responsibilities.
