Theme The moral of the story is never get jealous, one day something good will happen to you when the unexpected happens. Supporting details: • Kevin gets jealous. pg ; 12 and 13 • Kevin works to get her. ; all of the pages in the book mostly • Kevin and Tina get together. pg; 136
Point of view • The point of view the author is using is Omniscient and Limited Omniscient Point of View or First person Narrative. I understand it perfectly because it tells me in their own experience and a narrator whose knowledge is limited to one character, either major or minor , has a limited omniscient point of view.
Symbolism • The symbolism is a heart and two people together. Why I picked the heart and the two people is because the heart represents love, and Kevin is in love with Tina. The two people represent at the end when they went out .
Recommendation • The book is worth reading because it’s sort of a romance for kids in some ways. It shows the relationship with boy and girls. It’s a really good book to read. There is also drama in their too. So if you like romance you should read this book. • SO YOU GUYS SHOULD READ THIS BOOK BY GARY PAULSEN!!!
