Impact • Led to urbanization, huge shift from rural population to bigger cities • More wealth for countries who industrialized at a faster rate • Faster transportation • Railroads, steam boats, canals • Mass goods led to needing a way to move goods faster to trade / sell more
Positives • More efficient transportation • More jobs • Cheaper goods • Increased standard of living (more people were able to buy mass produced goods)
