  2. Languages • Some of the languages spoken in India are Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujurathi, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Malayalam, and Kannada. There are more than 50 languages spoken in India. Hindi is the official language spoken in India.

  3. Religion • Some of the religions found in India are Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, and Jainism. Christianity and Islam are other religions in India. The main religion of India is Hinduism.

  4. Important Cities and Landmarks The Ganges River is the most sacred river of India. The TajMahal is one of India’s landmarks. It is made out of white marble. It took 16 years to build the TajMahal.

  5. Cool facts! If you visited India, you would see the Himalayas. You would even get to ride on an elephant!
