  1. Regatta Volleyball – Main Rules • Format is 4 – a side (see also playing schedule) • Substitution only by rotation or injury • Unlimited number of players may rotate-in, • but only 1 at the time • The ball must go over the net in maximum 3 • Ball may be played by any body part • ‘Double touch’ not allowed with the exception of block • Touching the net is not allowed • Crossing the line under the net is not allowed • Balls crossing outside ‘antennas’ are invalid • Balls crossing via the top of the net are valid, • with the exception of the service • A ball touching the line is ‘in’ • Scoring only on service • A ‘net service’ is fault, service to opponent • Blocking a service is not allowed, spiking is • At ‘double fault’ point will be replayed • Before service the ball should be ‘dry-cleaned’ In case of dispute or unforeseen situation the referee decides ! Remember: it’s all about FUN, but….winning could also be funny!’

  2. Format for pool matches: 2 times 10 min, set scores will be totaled, old rules (scoring only when on service) Winner gets 2 points. When total scores are equal (match undecided), each team gets 1 point.
