Aims To develop and validate an innovative and culturally adapted European model of good practice of HIV prevention in MSM for use across Europe, and in particular, ‘gay tourist destinations’. Specific aims are to: • Join forces with businesses (e.g. sex venues, hotels, travel agencies, and gay dating websites) to put information /preventive materials in clients’ hands • Create and train a network of specialised social mediators • Define action protocols for business owners (whose clientele are mainly MSM) – SR-HIV Seal • Validate the Everywhere Model by piloting the action for five months • Publish the validated Everywhere model and disseminate the project widely
Expected Results and Deliverables • A scoping report on HIV prevention in MSM across European partner countries – complete • Everywhere project website - www.everywhereproject.eu • Network of 24 (up to 32)social mediators specialised in accessing the private/business sector • Training workbooks on social mediation (8 languages) • Prevention materials: Leaflets for MSM and businesses (48,000); condoms and lube
Expected Results and Deliverables • Up to140 businesses in Europe contacted - 30 of which will adopt the Everywhere Protocol – related database available via website • A final report on the process of successful outreach to the business • Everywhere Manual • Various dissemination activities (articles, conference/seminar papers, local/national media)
