Biografie Flaminio Bertoni (1903 – 1964) • 1903 – geboren in Masagno, Como Italië • 1918 – onderbreekt studie technische school en gaat werken bij Macchi (locale autofabr.) • 1924 – hoofd tekenaar bij Macchi • 1929 – begint eigen ontwerpstudio • 1931 – gaat wonen in Parijs • 1932 – gaat werken bij Citroën • 1934 – introductie Citroën Traction Avant • 1935 – start ontwerp Citroën TPV • 1948 – introductie Citroën 2CV

  3. 1955 – DS 19, Déesse, de godin wordt op de autosalon van Parijs geïntroduceerd, verkoop 1e dag 12,000 auto’s • 1957 – tentoonstelling van de DS op de Triennale Milaan • 1961 – Laatste ontwerp: de Citroën Ami 6 • 1963 – Flaminio Bertoni overleden in Parijs
