Interrogative Form The interrogative form of the present continuous tense is formed by shifting is/am/are of the positive form to the beginning of the sentence ; as – [La forme interrogative au présent continu est formée en décalant l'auxiliaire am / is / are au début de la phrase, comme:] Positive Form: I am doing my home work.
Interrogative-Negative Form The interrogative-negative form of this tense is formed by shifting is, am,are of the negative form to the beginning of the sentence ; as – [La forme interrogative-négative est formée en décalant am / is / are début de la phrase, comme:] Negative Form : I am not doing my homework.
Change into Present Continuous Interrogative Form : • The students are learning in the class. • I am playing in the school playground. • She is going to the library . • Answers • Are the students learning in the class? • Am I playing in the school playground? • Is she going to the library ?
Change into negative interrogative form. • The babies are not swimming in the pool. • The robbers are not under arrest. • My father is not having a walk. • The soldiers are not marching to the battle field. Answers Are the babies not swimming in the pool? Are the robbers not under arrest?. Is my father not having a walk ? Are the soldiers not marching to the battle ?
