All About Goldfish. By KG Kids 1A44. Ms. Patty’s goldfish died. She gave it to us to dissect so we could study a goldfish up close. Goldfish have a round mouth that they keep open a lot. Goldfish have to be fed everyday. Goldfish have eyes that are squishy. Some people eat fish eyes.

  2. Ms. Patty’s goldfish died. She gave it to us to dissect so we could study a goldfish up close.

  3. Goldfish have a round mouth that they keep open a lot. Goldfish have to be fed everyday.

  4. Goldfish have eyes that are squishy. Some people eat fish eyes.

  5. Goldfish have gills that they use to breathe. The gills move.

  6. Goldfish have tails that help them balance. The goldfish tail is big.

  7. Goldfish have fins that help them balance and steer. Fins have hard ‘bones’ in them.

  8. Goldfish have swim bladders that look like balloons. The swim bladder can help the fish HEAR as well as swim.

  9. Goldfish have small hearts.

  10. Goldfish have bones inside. The bones are thin.

  11. Goldfish have scales that cover their bodies. You can pull the scales off the fish.

  12. Goldfish have many parts inside that look interesting.

  13. We are sorry Ms. Patty’s goldfish died but we learned a lot by dissecting it.
