Overview To specify the mechanisms necessary to establish MPLS-TP OAM entities monitoring an LSP and define information elements and procedures to configure pro-active MPLS OAM functions. OBJECTIVE Configuration via RSVP-TE and LSP-PING of: • BFD CC and CV • Performance Monitoring Loss as specified in draft-frost-mpls-tp-loss-delay • Performance Monitoring Delay as specified in draft-frost-mpls-tp-loss-delay • Fault Management Signal Previous Version
Changes respect to draft-ietf-ccamp-rsvp-te-mpls-tp-oam-ext-01 • The LSP-Ping configuration has been moved to a new draft: draft-absw-mpls-lsp-ping-mpls-tp-oam-conf • the TLV structure is common for both drafts and it is still defined in draft-ietf-ccamp-rsvp-te-mpls-tp-oam-ext • Yet another draft is now available for PW configuration via LDP: draft-zhang-mpls-tp-pw-oam-config • it also refers to the CCAMP draft for the TLVs structure draft-ietf-ccamp-... RSVP-TE TLVs structure definition (protocol agnostic) draft-absw-mpls-... draft-zhang-mpls-tp-pw... LSP - ping LDP for PW
Next Steps • Work in parallel with the work done in MPLS-TP • Keep aligned the three drafts • Receive more comments from the Working Groups
