  10. Assessment & Action Plan Observations: • Field officers carry out intake process • May result in delays in recognizing health issues, delays in proper classification • Current classification process may be too subjective

  11. Assessment & Action Plan Plan: • Create an Intake Team (6 members) • Protocoled intake process • Rapidly address medical needs • Accurately enter computer information • Obtain higher quality photos • Perform temperament testing • Minimize loss of time during hold periods
