Sends Form /Template Data External Data Form/Template Repository Repository 9.0 Use Case Diagram Section Description:This section conceptually represents the Business Actors interacting with the Use Case and the User Stories. These diagrams characterize the types of interactions that an actor has with a specific system. The section can include a Use Case Diagram and, if applicable, a Context Diagram.
SDC Use Case AssumptionsComplete draft 5.0 Use Case Assumptions Section Description: The Use Case Assumptions section outlines what needs to be in place to meet or realize the requirements of the Use Case (i.e. the necessary privacy and security framework). These points are more functional in nature and state the broad overarching concepts related to the Initiative. The Use Case assumptions will serve as a starting point for subsequent harmonization activities. Assumptions are separate than Pre & Post conditions, which are addressed in subsequent sections and focus on the necessary state of the system before & after the exchange from a technical perspective. • The Provider shall have an EHR system in place. • The Provider has an understanding of available forms/templates to choose from. • The Provider knows how to select the necessary form/template to be completed. • The CDE / Form / Template Development process has been defined & standardized. • The External Data Repository exists and is available to store cached and saved data • Only appropriate End Users will have access to extract stored data in External Data Repository. • Security and privacy policies to support acceptable levels of patient privacy and security; i.e., HIPAA, HITECH and EHR certification criteria have been implemented. • The necessary access and entry authorization protocols, for any of the systems or users described, are in place • Ensure relevant clinical form/template information can be accessed and retrieved in the SDC structure format
