According to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) of US Department of Labor slips, trips, and falls constitute the majority of general industry accidents causing 15% of all accidental deaths. • Second only to motor vehicles as a cause of fatalities. • OSHA has prescribed specific standards for Walking/working surfaces for the general industry, shipyard employment, marine terminals, longshoring, and the construction industry.
